Biography
Dr. Chatterjee joined the Conte Lab in October 2011 after completing his postdoctoral work at NASA Ames Research Center and Georgia Health Sciences University. He received his doctoral degree in Vascular Biology from Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta, Georgia in 2007. He is studying the therapeutic potential of various proresolving mediators utilizing in vitro and in vivo models of vascular injury. Dr. Chatterjee is also interested in investigating the molecular mechanisms of vascular smooth muscle proliferation and phenotype switching.
