The Collaborative for Surgical Health Outcomes, Research, and Equity (C-SHORE) at UCSF is a research collaborative committed to elevating health services research in the perioperative space and dedicated to improving equity in surgical care. Our goal is to empower and inspire the pursuit of improved healthcare value and equity for surgical patients through health services research.
NABARI
The Native American Bay Area Reach Initiative (NABARI) is a collective of Native American and Indigenous healers, activists, teachers, students, and their allies, coming together to increase Indigenous representation in higher education and the workforce. As a collaboration of community members from the Native American Health Center and the University of California, San Francisco, we are working together to create a holistic summer experience and yearlong programming to amplify our community’s next generation of changemakers.;
The Native American Health Alliance (NAHA)
The Native American Health Alliance (NAHA) at UCSF is a community of students, staff, faculty, and allies dedicated to uplifting Indigenous voices in healthcare. Their mission focuses on increasing the visibility and representation of Native peoples, promoting cultural understanding, and raising awareness of health disparities impacting Native communities through education, advocacy, and events.
